01. How much is this going to cost?
The total cost of a project will vary depending on its size and scope. We charge $250 for an initial discovery meeting with our full service design option. Our process is then broken out into two phases - Design & Implementation. We will provide a cost estimate for the design phase based on the project requirements gathered during our discovery meeting. For the implementation phase, we charge an hourly rate for on-going project management and support.
02. How long will this process take?
Each project timeline will be different based on the scope of the project, availability of skilled tradespeople, and product delivery timelines. We will communicate a chronological workflow of your project and provide weekly updates during the active construction phase as part of our ongoing project management services.
03. What is your decor style?
Our goal is to uncover your style and deliver a project design that captures who you are and what you love! We have completed projects for highly-satisfied clients with a wide-range of decor styles.
04. Do you add a mark-up to products and materials?
We do not mark up retail pricing for any products or materials ordered through us. We do pay wholesale pricing in some cases through our trade affiliations with preferred suppliers. In those cases, we retain a small margin that covers our time for ordering the product and resolving any product delivery issues that may arise along the way. We do not charge an hourly rate for the ordering of products.
05. What is the payment schedule for a project requiring construction?
We will provide a labor and materials estimate at the end of the design phase. Payment for all of the project materials is required to begin the project and secure contractors. The labor quote will include a payment schedule based on the construction benchmarks and the volume of construction supplies needed for each phase of the project. There may be several months between the payment for materials and the beginning of the installation phase due to lead time on products and the availability of the construction crew.
06. How involved are you in the construction process?
We are involved from the start of the project during the design phase through project completion. We will partner directly with the construction crew during project demo and installation to ensure our design plan has been executed to perfection and you are 100% satisfied with the end result!
07. What if I want to expand the original project scope?
While we prefer to capture the full scope of the project upfront, we are happy to accommodate additional projects. We will detail the products, cost, and timeline in a change order so you, our team, and the construction crew move forward together in a coordinated manner.
08. Do you have a construction team that works directly for you?
We have several preferred contractors and installers who we work with frequently. We are also happy to partner with a builder or contractor of your choosing.
